How to embed the web in Android apps (video)

This is the fifth in a series of videos provided by Google on Android programming.



This video shows how we can use the WebView to create applications that render HTML pages. Along with being able to embed HTML and Javascript web pages in apps, the most exciting thing I found in this view was the fact that the Javascript in a webpage can communicate with Java code and Java code can communicate with javascript. This is really cool.

I have three apps on Google Play now (Android Kakuro, Medicine Tracker, and LogicCalc) and needed to make help documentation for every one of them.I looked long and hard before settling on this mechanism alongside jQuery-mobile to give sensibly gorgeous documentation.It took a little playing around to get everything working effectively yet is remarkably simple to utilize by and large (and looks really great,as well).

Hello! Thanks you very much for this information.We sincerely never thought 6-second circling features could be so astonishing, yet here we are seeing such a marvel as this. What's more, now, you can encounter Vine cuts on any site that backings them, because of another highlight that permits you to embed Vine cuts onto your website or site.Thanks all

Testing Groovy domain classes

If you are trying to test Grails domain class constraints by putting your unit test cases in the 'test/unit' directory, then your tests will fail because the domain objects will not have the 'valdate' method. This can be resolved in two ways: Place the test cases inside test/integration (which will slow things down) Use the method 'mockForConstraintsTests(Trail)' to create mock method in your domain class and continue writing your test cases in 'test/unit' What follows is some example code around this finding. Creating an Eclipse web project using Maven and Struts 1.x

I am doing some Struts work after a long time. Interestingly it is for a Test Driven Development training. A client wants me to do a hands on session, using Struts 1.x, and EJB's. They also want to do the hands on sessions with a small but production project. It seems their developers are tired of Calculator and Shape projects :-) Well I can't really blame them.
